Day 20, June 16

Madison Campground,  Yellowstone Park to Colter Bay, Wy
Approx. 75 miles

I am mostly going to let the pictures of Yellowstone speak for themselves.  There are only a few things I will say about riding through the park.  Bike lanes are non-existent and shoulders narrow.  Add to that very heavy traffic, about 50% of which is behemoth motorhomes (often rented) with distracted drivers and it becomes an area which requires constant vigilance for cyclists.

That said, the scenery was awesome and it is well worth it to ride through the park.

After this I entered Grand Teton National Park (notice the instantly improved shoulders)

I spent the night at a forrest service run campground in Colter Bay, about 5 miles past where the above picture was taken.
